We would like to honor the family members that have served in the military during the week of November 7th. If you and/or another family member has served in our armed forces, we would love to showcase you in our main hallway. Please send a picture (preferably in uniform), with the first and last name of the person pictured, relationship to the Steele student, branch of service, and dates active. This can be emailed to the principal at kpala@galesburg205.org. Please have all photos to Ms. Pala by November 7th. Thank you!!

The District will hold a school safety town hall meeting for all CUSD #205 Stakeholders. (Students, Staff, Parents, Guardians, Community Members, Community Leaders, Board Members, etc.)

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Galesburg Junior Senior High School

from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Transportation is available and can be requested via a QR code (see flyer below).

Goals for the town hall:

1. Provide factual information and data to stakeholders
2. Respond to concerns and questions from stakeholders while allowing an opportunity for all voices to be represented, heard, and respected
3. Work together to provide solution-based ideas and incorporate a plan of action moving forward
