LETTER FROM YOUR PRINCIPAL
Dear Bobcat Families,
Thank you to everyone who came tonight to Open House and Family fun Night. It was wonderful to see so many smiling proud faces. What a fun culmination of the school year it is to share the experience with your child and to see their efforts and growth over the school year.
**Please remember that tomorrow is a minimum day. Dismissal will be at 12:15 for all grades except Kindergarten at 12:00.
WE STILL NEED VOLUNTEERS for SCIENCE OLYMPIAD on June 6th from 8am-12pm. No matter what grade your student is in, it is a great day to volunteer and see how creative and ingenious our students in 4th-6th grade are! Please sign up to help out!
As we come to the close of another school year, our 6th grade students and teachers, the Santa Rita Class of 2023, are busy preparing for their Promotion Ceremony which will be held on Thursday, June 8th, at 9:00 am in the Sixth Grade Park. The families of our 6th grade students are invited to attend. A reception will be held immediately after the ceremony.
Lastly, I would like to direct your attention to the district calendar for the 2023-24 school year. You will see breaks during the academic year, including Thanksgiving, Winter Recess, February Recess and Spring Break. Please be aware of these dates as you plan your family trips and vacations so that your child is not out of school while school is in session. Pay particular attention to the Winter recess dates; the last day of instruction is Friday, December 22.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, NO SCHOOL MONDAY and sending my very best to each of you.
Stay Bobcat Strong!
Kelly Rafferty
Principal
Thank you for your hard work this year, Ball Shack Crew!
