DR. PEPUKAYI'S WEEKLY MESSAGE
EHS HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH CELEBRATION !
Ms. Claudia Stecher's Easton High Native and Heritage Speakers Spanish Class hosted an amazing event to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and Guatemala's Children's Day last Friday, October 6th. Ms. Stecher explained, "Our class has been working on our Latino/Hispanic Identity Unit, and it was the perfect timing to celebrate our heritage with the rest of the nation. I couldn't be more proud of my students for organizing the event to recognize and honor our diverse EHS Latino/Hispanic culture." Students brought food that represented various Latin American countries, and Mrs. Brown from Culinary Arts helped students plan and ensure compliance with food safety regulations. The celebration also included traditional games and dancing! #hispanicheritagemonth #TCPSPROUD #TEAMTCPS #Transformingandperforming
