NWACC Financial Aid reps. will be available to help you complete the FAFSA and answer any questions you may have via Zoom. Be sure to have your 2019 tax documents available. You will need them to complete the FAFSA.
The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Before each year of college, apply for federal grants, work-study, and loans with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form. Your college uses your FAFSA data to determine your federal aid eligibility.

Clinton Foundation ACT Test Prep Workshop
Returning Participants | December 6, 2020 | 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Mark your calendars for our last virtual ACT Prep Workshops of 2020. The Saturday session is designed for first time participants and includes testing skills, as well as English, Reading, Math, and Science concept review. The Sunday session is designed for students that have previously attended one of our Saturday sessions and gives students the opportunity to complete more practice problems and ask more personalized and in-depth questions. Registration opens on November 23.

The U of A has several great resources for students to review before beginning the scholarship application process.

- Scholarship Workshop Video An actual workshop talking about the scholarship process that was recorded at the beginning of the month.
- Tuesday Talks with the Office of Academic Scholarships at 6:00 pm on November 24 – Students can register for this live event here.
- Representatives from the Office of Academic scholarships will be discussing the priority scholarship application deadline and the scholarship process. No matter where your students are in the scholarship process, we encourage all students to attend this virtual event and get answers directly from the experts.
- College readiness workshops hosted by College Access Initiative at the U of A – Students can learn more about and register for the workshops here.

Thea Foundation Question and Answer Zoom Sessions
Thea Foundation College Scholarships Zoom sessions are designed to answer student's, teachers and parents questions about Thea's scholarship competitions.
Thea will be discussing all you need to know about our Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Creative Writing, Fashion Design, Spoken Word or Film scholarship competitions. Thea offers 36 scholarships for a total of $97,500 each year. Thea's competitions are totally inclusive: no test score, grade point or major requirements to enter our competitions and students may enter more than one competition.
The sessions will last about 30 minutes and anyone interested may attend. Just click HERE and choose a date.
