We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break! This upcoming Wednesday we will be having a district-wide Wellness Wednesday. Your child will still participate in their normal learning schedule at their normal times, but the focus will be entirely on relationships, games, and mindfulness. We are taking a break from the academic aspects of school and focusing on the social emotional well-being of our students and staff. We are excited to provide a day for students to interact with one another and their teacher without the rigor of academic content. As an added bonus, Wednesday, December 9th, will be a pajama day!

Please follow the directions below to access and sign your child's report card online. We are asking that ALL kindergarten-fourth grade families sign the report card electronically. PLEASE SIGN YOUR CHILD'S REPORT CARD BY FRIDAY, DECEMBER 11TH!

There are many positive effects of students being read to as well as seeing their own family read. Let your child see you read by grabbing a book or magazine for pleasure. Be being read to or reading together, your child builds positive associations with reading, is willing to take reading risks, and is exposed to significantly more vocabulary.

Mrs. O makes a positive difference in the lives of our kindergarten students on a daily basis. Her warmth, caring and welcoming approach that she shares with all of her students is phenomenal. Working in a remote environment, she goes above and beyond to make learning fun. She is EXTRAORDINARY!

Miss Nykiel has been so helpful in assisting students at Swartz School and really cares about each student. She helped create a speech schedule and reviewed it thoroughly with each student to ensure they could achieve success through their virtual meetings. She is EXTRAORDINARY!

Meals are available for pick up on Tuesday, November 24th, from 1:00-1:30 and 2:30-3:00.

Any District 48 family can pick up 5 days worth of meals (breakfast and lunch) at Albright Middle School at Door 2 on Tuesdays from 1:00-1:30 and 2:30-3:00. You can also pick up meals on Wednesdays from 11:00-4:00 at any District 45 school. If these times do not work for you, please contact the office, and we can arrange a different time for you to pick up the meals. Menus for December are linked below.
