News, Updates & Reminders: 9/9

Good Morning E.L.M. Families,

Happy Friday! I want to thank everyone who came out for our Open House/Ice Cream Social. I especially want to thank our PTG team: Ashley Loynes, Tanya Guerin, & Jen Nocher for their support of the Ice Cream Social. It was great to see everyone again after our two-year COVID hiatus.

Fri. 9/16 - Field Trip Gr. 3-6 (Manice)

* Gr. 3-6 Families - A field trip permission packet for Manice Educational Center was sent home yesterday. Please complete all portions of the packet and return as soon as possible. Students will be unable to attend unless everything is complete. We will leave school next Friday at 8:45 and return around 2:45. Manice will provide transportation and meals.

* If you haven't done so already, please return all of the Back to School paperwork to the office as soon as possible. These forms include important information that we need to have here on file.

* Aftercare - Payments due by 9/16 for attendance during week of 9/19 - 9/23. Thank you.

* Our PTG is looking for new members! Please consider joining this dynamic group of parents as they plan and support all of the fundraising and extra-curricular activities for our students. The first meeting of the year will be next Tuesday at 3:00pm.

* SMILE! Picture Day is next Wednesday, 9/14. Order forms were sent home yesterday, but I have attached a copy below as well. We will be inviting Samantha Lega, from SL Photography to take our pictures this year. She replaces Judy Dias, who has retired. All pictures will be taken outside.

* We haven't had to request these in awhile, but we would welcome any donations for Kleenex tissues for the classrooms. Thank you!

Planning Ahead:

* We have a half day of school on Friday, October 7th. Dismissal will be at 11:30am and lunch will be served.

A Note from Nurse Jacquelyn:

Thank you to everyone who has returned their annual medical update (green sheet that went home in the packet) and recent physicals for their student. If you have not done so already please do so at your earliest convenience.
