Winter Weather
Updated at 3:50 p.m., 2-15-2021=
TCA+A Schools of TeSA and FWAFA will be closing schools for Tuesday and Wednesday, February 16-17, 2021 due to the continued dangerous weather conditions and rolling blackouts. All TCA+A buildings will be closed and there will be no school for in-person nor at-home learning on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 16-17, 2021. With a lack of reliable power for all involved, we want you to focus on being safe and warm as well as not further being a burden on the electric grid. The impacts of this weather could likely extend past Wednesday. We will continue to provide updates about the rest of the week as soon as possible to give everyone time to plan.
Thank you for your flexibility as we strive to keep everyone safe during this winter storm.
Respectfully,
Paul Gravley

If your student has been within close contact of anyone showing COVID symptoms or waiting on results of a COVID test, he/she should quarantine and participate in At-Home Learning.
Email Nurse Edna at edna.robinson@mytesa.org if your child may have been exposed or is showing symptoms.
TeSA Applause
I want to nominate Mrs. Wilcox to be recognized. She immediately knew from talking with Mrs. Sapp, Mckenzie's first grade teacher, that she needed extra confidence and special attention regarding Math. Not to mention the kids were out of school 7 months; I was so worried she would be behind. Mrs. Wilcox immediately embraced Mckenzie by sitting her close to her desk to ask questions and be in the front to pay attention more. She has taken Mckenzie under her wing to ensure she loves Math and doesn’t get discouraged. Mckenzie is slowly but surely making tons of progress, she’s made 2 100s on Math exams recently and her confidence has soared. She is starting to enjoy math instead of feeling intimidated. Mrs. Wilcox has sent me messages and notes on homework to allow me to keep track of her struggles so I can work with her at home and when she succeeds she’s the first to send me a message of how proud she is of her. Well I’m PROUD and HONORED to have Mrs. Wilcox teaching my daughter and feel she should be recognized!
