DANCE EXPECTATIONS AND INFORMATION
General Information
Time: 6-8PM
Place: NMS Gymnasium, Please enter in the main entrance
Cost: $5
Concessions: Pizza, candy, and drinks will be for sale in the commons
Costume Expectations
- No masks
- No accessories that are weapons, drug, alcohol, tobacco, vape or anything that looks like or resembles or references these type of items.
- Make up may be worn (to dance) but no blood, guts, etc.!
- Costumes MUST be school appropriate
Dance Expectations:
- Be Safe, Be responsible and Be respectful at all times
Per the school handbook, a student must arrive at school by 11:30 am in order to be counted as having attended a half day of school. The student must be in attendance at least half of the day in order to participate in a dance.
Dance is from 6:00 – 8:00. Please do not drop off your student any earlier than 5:50 and please be at school at 8:00 for pick-up.
Students are NOT allowed to leave the dance at any time before 8:00 without prior approval from a staff member and parent contact will be made.
Students will be allowed to have their phones with them but must be put away in pocket, backpack, or purse.
School dress code will be enforced at the dances.
Any major student discipline issues during the dance will result in the students being sent home and school consequences may apply.
The building's exterior doors will be locked during the dance.
For Parents
All students should enter the dance from the main entrance.
At the end of the dance students are NOT allowed to cross Rt. 12 for pick-up. Students must be picked up on the east side of Rt. 12.
PICK-UP PROCEDURE- 7th/8th grade student pick-up is in the back of the school and 6th grade student pick-up will be in the front of the building.

November 17- 7th/8th Choir, Band, Jazz Concert @NMS 7PM
November 21- Student Led Conferences 12:30-8PM
November 22- Student Led Conferences 10:30-6PM
November 23-24- NO SCHOOL- Thanksgiving Break
December 1- 6th Grade Choir, Band, Jazz Band Concert @NMS 7PM
December 2- Early Release SIP Day- 10:50 Dismissal for Students
December 6- Picture Retake- Includes Staff
December 20- PTO Meeting (Times TBD)
December 23- NO SCHOOL- Start of Winter Break
Please donate that extra candy for our PTO to earn some extra funds! We will have a box set up in the main office. Have your child drop their candy off at the beginning of the day. The PTO will deliver the candy to Conlon at the end of the collection period.
