• Years of Service Celebrations- Kudos to Ms. Patti Zimmerman who has completed 25 years of service with Shawnee Heights and for Mrs. Carrie Deghand who has completed 5 years of service. These ladies are highly valued and are key members of our BES team.
  

• Carnival is TOMORROW- Come out and see Mrs. Courtney Berry kiss that pig at the Carnival! Thank you to our amazing PTO for the hard work they've put into preparing for this event. We also appreciate all of the students and families for donating treats and selling raffle tickets.

• Super Camp for 5th and 6th Grade- BES will have a Quantum Learning Specialist with our 5th and 6th grades on Wednesday and Friday of next week for a few hours. Students will be in small groups and will further their leadership and critical thinking skills.

• Berryton Fan Gear- Who's ready for some new Berryton spirit wear? Our team store is open! Click on the button below to get to the site. There are 4 designs and numerous options for apparel available. The site also has directions regarding how to get the shirts sent to the school.

• Upcoming Parent Teacher Conferences- Sign up below to reserve a Parent Teacher conference time. Conferences will be offered via Zoom or in person again this year.

• Halloween Festivities- BES is planning to have Halloween parties this year instead of Trick or Treating at 9:30 on October 25. Following the parties at 10:00 we will have a building wide parade outside (with weather permitting). More details will be coming soon.

As an elementary principal I enjoy working collaboratively with staff members to support student learning. I am passionate about continuing to learn professionally, and building relationships with staff and students at Berryton Elementary. When I'm not serving at Berryton Elementary I am usually with my husband and two sons. We can be found at sporting events, cheering on Kansas State University, or just enjoying a movie at home.
