Food For Thought

What does this really mean for us? Well, it means that sacrifice is the foundation of our relationship with God. We must put our trust in Him and allow His sacrifice to grow our relationship with Him. He gave his life so we could be reconciled with Him and receive the gift of salvation. It was through His sacrifice that the distance between us and God was bridged, allowing us to live a life of peace and joy in Him. This sacrifice allows us to build our trust in God and draw closer to Him every day.

By laying down His life on the cross, Jesus demonstrated unparalleled love and devotion for us, granting access to an everlasting relationship with Him. He showed us what it means to sacrifice for another and how far love will go for the sake of reconciliation.

We can see that sacrifice is at the center of our relationship with God. Jesus' sacrifice allowed us to be reconciled with God and experience the joys of His presence. We are able to trust in Him and grow our relationship each day because of His sacrifice.

Lord, You sacrificed Your own Son's life so we would not be lost. You knew that this sacrifice would be the bridge back to you for all of humanity you loved so much. I pray that you will help me to love as you did. Amen
