WHS Scheduling Update
August 26, 2022
Please review this email as it provides important information about accessing your schedule and important reminders about our updated Add/Drop procedure.
You are now able to view your schedule in Powerschool!
Please visit https://powerschl.watertown.k12.ma.us/ and log in using the username and password you were provided in the Spring. If you have forgotten your PowerSchool credentials, please contact Mr. Kareem Mimms (kareem.mimms@watertown.k12.ma.us) or Mrs. Linda Tracy (linda.tracy@watertown.k12.ma.us) via email or by calling the high school (617-926-7760) during business hours.
Your schedule was built based on the course requests you provided during the course selection process last year. If you believe there is an error with your schedule or you would like to discuss your schedule with your school counselor, please email them. They will respond to your email early next week. Many questions can be addressed via email, but the Guidance department will also be available to meet with students Tuesday, Wednesday afternoon, and Thursday morning of next week. Please contact Mrs. Tracy or your school counselor to schedule an appointment.
I would also like to remind you of our updated Add/Drop procedure. No changes to schedules will be made between the 1st and 7th days of school. During the Add/Drop Period (September 15-23), changes to student schedules will be made under the following conditions:
1. Student receives written permission from the teacher, the curriculum coordinator, and their parent/guardian. Students should obtain the appropriate form in Guidance.
2. The courses being exchanged occur during the same scheduled block during the day.
3. The courses being exchanged will not be over/under-enrolled due to the student's departure or arrival in the course.
You are strongly encouraged to review your schedule as soon as possible and communicate with your school counselor before the first day of school if you have any questions about your schedule or are considering any changes.
We are looking forward to seeing you soon!
