12 Days Until Christmas Break: This week's 12 Days Until Christmas Break spirit days are:

Tuesday- Spread Cheer: Wear a shirt with a positive message for others to read.

Wednesday- Reindeer Games- Dress like Rudolph or some of his reindeer friends.

Thursday- I am dreaming of a White Christmas- Wear white or snowflakes.

Friday- Santa's Ho-Ho- Hoedown- Cowboy up in your boots and cowboy hats.

Christmas Music Concert Attendance is Expected: We will be having our Christmas Music Concerts on Monday, December 20, 2021 in the High School Gym. We expect all students to be in attendance at this concert! The kindergarten through 2nd grade students' performance will begin at 6 PM. Students will need to arrive to their classrooms at 5:40 PM. The 3rd-6th grade students' performance will begin at 7 PM and they should arrive to their classrooms at 6:40 PM.

Honor Choir Adds Friday Practices: Honor Choir practice will be on Tuesdays and Fridays at 7:20 AM! Fridays has been added to help prepare the choir for the Christmas Concert coming up! Honor Choir students need to arrive on time and head directly to the music room!

Band Concert: I apologize for the misinformation last week, but the Elementary Band will be having their concert on Sunday, December 19 at 3 PM in the High School Gym. Students will need to report to the band room at 2 PM.

Volunteer Training: If you are wanting to be a volunteer in our school on a regular basis, mark your calendars for Friday, December 17 for our training! This will be at 9 AM in our Elementary Data Room. This training should take less than an hour. Please call the elementary office at 417-723-5300 ext. 1301 to RSVP for the training.

Christmas Makeover Volunteers Needed: We need licensed cosmetologists to volunteer to help cut and style hair. If you are interested in helping, please call the elementary office at 417-723-5300 ext. 1301.

Christmas Parties: Class Christmas parties have been scheduled for Tuesday, December 21! AM Preschool Sessions will be held 10:30 AM-11:30 AM. All other classes and the PM Preschool Sessions will be held from 2:30 PM-3:30 PM. Assuming COVID cases stay minimal, we will be allowing parents to attend the class Christmas parties to help out with games, foods and/or crafts! If you would like to help, please let your child's teacher know so they can let you know what they need help with for their party.

Teachers' Favorite Things: Many of you have asked about a document sharing the favorite things of our staff members. You can find a spreadsheet of this here. I will be adding staff members' responses as they respond so check back if the staff member you are looking for is not listed!

COVID Testing: Did you know if your child as COVID symptoms you can arrange to have Nurse Tena administer a rapid COVID test for free? We ask that you call the office to arrange a time with Nurse Tena to bring your child in for testing. She will have the results within 15 minutes. Please know we will NOT test your child without your consent!

December 20: Christmas Makeover Day

December 20: Christmas Concerts in High School Gym: K-2nd= 6 PM (Students arrive by 5:40.) and 3rd-6th= 7 PM (Students arrive by 6:40.)

December 21: Class Christmas Parties (AM PK Sessions at 10:30 -11:30 AM) 2:30- 3:30 PM
