Happy Holidays from the Morse Staff
Morse Families,
Winter Break is just around the corner, with only five days left! December has been a busy yet delightful month. Our students have remained actively involved in their learning, putting in considerable effort. As they approach this well-deserved time off, they should take pride in all they have accomplished. Please encourage your children to give their best in these final five days and to make positive choices.
On behalf of the Morse staff, I extend warm wishes for a wonderful holiday season! This marks the last newsletter until 2024, but please continue reading for important information. Have a fantastic week, and we look forward to your presence at our Winter Performances on Friday! Happy Holidays!

2023 Winter Performance - Parent Expectations
Morse Families,
We are excited to showcase the talents of our students and celebrate the joy of the season together. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, please review the following guidelines for parents during the Winter Performance:
Please line up at the double gates outside the playground. A QR code will be posted on the fence for families to use to sign in. Guests will enter approximately 5-10 minutes before the scheduled performance. Please find a seat and remain seated throughout the performance to avoid blocking the view of others. Your cooperation in this matter will ensure that everyone has an unobstructed view of the performance.
After each performance, you will have a designated area to take pictures with your children.
All guests are asked to leave the performance area promptly after the conclusion of each performance and photo session. This allows us to prepare for the next performance efficiently. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in making this a seamless experience for everyone.
To minimize disruptions and maintain focus on the performances, we request that your children remain at school for the rest of the school day following the Winter Performance. Additionally, we request that young siblings do not attend the event.
Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the Winter Performance, please feel free to reach out to Mrs. Farrell.
We appreciate your cooperation and support in making this Winter Performance a memorable and enjoyable event for all. We look forward to celebrating the holiday season with you and your families.
-Mrs. Farrell
Building Blocks of Success
Students are encouraged to continue to practice reading and math facts at home. Our students have shown excellent growth in their progress with math facts. In reviewing our Reflex Math data, our students have shown a 33% increase in their math fact fluency since we began to use this instructional tool. For more information about the importance of learning math facts and reading each day, please visit our District website to read about the Building Blocks of Success Campaign.
