PD Committee Meeting: Monday, 11.6.17 @ 8:00 a.m.


Leadership Committee: Tuesday, 11.7.17 @7:45 p.m. One of the main topics for this meeting will be technology and laptop cart sharing. Please share your ideas/thoughts with your leadership representative or feel free to join the team if you have ideas to share.


Wednesday, 11.8.17 is early release. Please remind students to make sure they know where they are going. In addition, all dismissal changes should be made in PikMyKid. Please check Megan's email for the location of your meeting.


Our buddy assembly will be at 9:00 a.m. Students should wear their Concord t-shirt and this document will outline the buddy activity for after the assembly. This month we will focus on Kindness.


Wednesday and Thursday Block: Please note that both of these days will be the SAME letter day. This is at the request of the block teachers due to skating.


Staff Meeting-CHANGE OF DATE! Our next staff meeting will be Monday, November 13th at 7:45 a.m. We had to change the date due to the PD committee visit to Kansas City.

Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts

All scouts are encouraged to wear their uniforms. Only the 4th and 5th graders will be meeting to perform the pledge. When they are finished, they will sit back with their classrooms.

Resource of the Week: Flocabulary

Flocabulary: We have a district-wide Flocabulary trial. It is for 60 days. Flocabulary offers a ton...not just videos. You can start using the trial on November 1st. It will last through winter break. The district trial also includes student access if your teachers are interested. I am happy to provide more information and help if needed. Concord Cafe-Breakfast Cart

Beginning next week, the Concord Cafe will be open in the lobby. Students can fuel up with a healthy breakfast to improve concentration and performance inside and outside the classroom. They are encouraged to stop by the new grab and go breakfast cart before class to try these delicious breakfast items! Please feel free to set individual expectations with your students regarding items being brought into the classroom. After the first week, we can analyze what adjustments need to be made. You will notice the items offered are healthy and hopefully not messy.

Academic All Stars

Teachers -Please join us on stage with the students and help us distribute the prize packages in the lobby following each program. Families always give a lot of positive feedback about how much they enjoy seeing their child's teacher in attendance. This is a great opportunity for you to show your support of academic achievement and connect with our families.

Yoga With Ms. Debbie

We are excited to announce that Debbie, a certified yoga instructor, will be offering yoga on Tuesdays in the Creation Station from 4:00-4:45 p.m. Cost is $5.00/session. Please bring a yoga mat or borrow one from the Zen Den.

Thank you to those who helped prepare for the Building Assistant Luncheon-Peggy, Lindsay, and Krissy. What a special day!

Thank you to the Social Committee for a fun Staff Halloween Breakfast. It was really nice to get together and enjoy each other in costume.


Thank you to all who attended the trivia night Friday night. It was such a fun night.

Angie will be out at Monday-Wednesday for sure for surgery.
