Dear Blackstock Families,

Promotion Update: We have promotion over two days to help with social distancing. On June 16th cohort A will promote and on June 17th Cohort B will promote. This will include H@H students as well. I am attaching the promotion letter that was sent out to parents on Friday. Students will only be allowed two guests. We are currently working on an alternative schedule for the last week during promotion and device return. Our promotion will be broadcast through Youtube Live for those students and families who can’t attend.

8th grade Parents, you have time to encourage your student to complete classwork and improve grade marks to earn the privilege to participate in the promotion celebrations, June 16 Cohort A and June 17 Cohort B. We realize that this school year has been difficult for learning and teaching. The 8th-grade students at risk of not participating in the promotion activities due to low academic standing took home a parent letter for you to sign. It provides you information on how your student still has an opportunity to participate. The final check of student academic grade marks, behavior and attendance, is June 4, 2021. letters of notification of non-promotion will be sent on June 7.

Hueneme @ Home 2021-2022 :

For the 21-22 school year, HESD will be offering a limited number of spaces in the Hueneme at Home Digital Learning Academy for students in grades kindergarten through 6th. Grades TK, 7th and 8th will not be offered next year. Selection for Hueneme at Home Digital Learning Academy will be based on a lottery from applications received between May 18-June 1. Applications received after June 1st will not be included in the lottery and will be placed on a wait list after those students who were in the lottery, but were not selected.

Please complete the registration form below to register your child for the 2021 HESD Hueneme at Home Digital Learning Academy. If you have more than one student, you must complete a separate registration form for each student.

Hueneme en casa 2021-2022: Para el año escolar 21-22, HESD ofrecerá un número limitado de espacios en la Academia de Aprendizaje Digital Hueneme at Home para estudiantes de kindergarten a sexto grado.
