The Primary family is devoted to educating and inspiring all students academically, socially, and emotionally by giving our love and instilling integrity. We will model the importance of family, faith, and wisdom with our leaders of tomorrow.

The vision at Pleasanton Primary School is to equip and empower a community of life-long learners with the foundation to lead and succeed in our rapidly changing world.

Language Arts-Students will be able to follow a visual calendar and identify at least 4-10 uppercase and lowercase letters.

Math-Students will be able to identify 3 numbers and count to 6.

Language Arts-Students will be able to identify 10-15 uppercase letters, 10-15 lowercase letters and produce 8-10 sounds.

Math-Students will be able to identify 5 numbers, count 4 sets 0-10, rote count to 10 and count by 1's to 20.

Language Arts-Students will be able to identify and produce 20 letter names and sounds.

Math-Students will be able to compose and decompose numbers to 10.

Language Arts-Students will work on reading R-Controlled words such as barn and farm.

Math-Students will identify 2D shapes by their attributes (vertices and sides).

Teachers select one student to receive a Golden Feather award at the end of each month. These students are recognized for exhibiting great character in all school settings. Students will be given a certificate, have a photo posted on social media and get a book from the PBIS vending machine.

The Everything Is Possible Mindset teaches that we are all capable of living extraordinary lives. Students learn that everything which exists today was once just an idea until someone believed it was possible and took the actions to make it into reality. This is true with our lives as well – they become, in many ways, whatever we expect them to be.

Every day that your child attends school is another opportunity to learn something new! Our Primary attendance goal is to have 98 percent of our students attend school every day. Thank you for all that you do to support your child’s learning here at the Pleasanton Primary!

Congratulations to our 1st Quarter perfect attendance students. We would also like to give a shout out and a great big THANK YOU to the parents for making sure their child(ren) attend school every day and on time. Along with receiving a Brag tag, they will have the opportunity to participate in a fun science experiment. Way to go!!

Mrs. Guerra's class celebrated having perfect attendance as a class for the week of October 17th.

When your child attends school Monday through Friday with no absences, he/she earns a celebration on the Monday of the following week. We refer to this as Amazing Attendance Mondays.
