Baby Think it Over
The Early Childhood Education class is participating in the "Baby Think It Over" program this month. Students take the babies home over the weekend and are responsible for their total care. Students learn the skills needed to care for an infant and understand that it can be stressful and hard sometimes. The babies cry and are up at night, but are also happy and content when cared for correctly. Students have fun taking the babies to sporting events, out to dinner and shopping. Many students visit family and friends while caring for the babies as well. Overall, most students enjoy the experience, but come back to school on Monday very tired. This experience enhances the program to add infant care and gives the students a chance to experience being a parent.
Bath Tech Spirit Week! (article by Abigayle Reed, Cosmetology student and NTHS member)
Over this week Bath Tech had our first annual Spirit Week to celebrate National CTE Month. The members of The National Technical Honor Society worked hard to make this a fun week for everyone. Throughout the week we had dress-up days, each program made classroom videos and we supported our communities with a food drive. This week there was a lot of school spirit and we were able to bring the school together for some fun. The dress-up days were Monday: Pjs vs Business Casual, Tuesday: Twin Day, Wednesday: Soccer Moms vs BBQ Dads, Thursday: Dress as your future career and Friday: Bath Tech or Sending School Gear.
