It was great to see and talk to so many of you at Open House last week.
The students and staff had an outstanding first full week of classes this past week. This week students will participate in MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) Standardized Testing in their Math and ELA classes. Plano CUSD student's participate in MAP Testing 3 times a year. MAP test results are utilized by our staff to evaluate student's current academic levels as well as their academic growth. Each individual student's results help to inform our staff on how to adapt instruction to meet the unique academic needs of each student. Results from the Fall MAP test will be shared with parents at Parent Teacher Conferences.
Hey Fishing Enthusiasts!
Our Fall Fishing Club is back, and we are ready to cast our lines again! Fishing Club begins meeting this Thursday, September 2nd from 3 - 5 pm.
Remember that students will be meeting in the Middle School lobby before heading down to Foli Park!
Fishing Poles and Bait will be provided, and students MUST be responsible for their own rides home.

Every Tuesday is "College and Career Day" at Plano Middle School. Dress up in gear to represent your favorite College or dress to represent a specific job career.
