- Get Senior Pictures taken
- Take SAT or ACT- some college applications require a college entrance exam. If your school of choice does, now is the time to plan when you will take your exam.
Winter
- Apply for scholarships
- Apply to college
- Fill out the FAFSA
- Have a plan- college, military, work, training program, mission
- Check Graduation Plan- are your remaining requirements scheduled for spring semester?
- Order Cap and Gown
- Senior Projects DUE!
Spring
- Civics Exam
- Confirm your plan- college, military, work, training program, mission
- College acceptance
- Order Graduation Announcements and send to family and friends

UPDATE: Changes to Idaho Graduation Requirements
Students are no longer required to take a College Entrance Exam (SAT/ ACT).
These exams are still available free of charge through the Advanced Opportunities program.
Students are now required to take Financial Literacy. Financial Literacy is covered in Personal Finance and Economics.

Financial Aid for Families
OSBE's College & Career Access Team will be offering two Financial Aid 101 webinars for families this Fall. During this one hour webinar, families will learn about the types of financial aid available, how to prepare for the FAFSA, and state aid programs. The webinars will be recorded for those who cannot attend. Please share this information with parents and guardians in your community!

5 Things to Know about the New FAFSA
- The 24-25 FAFSA application will not open until December of 2023.
- Students and contributors (formally known as parents) will need to create a FSA ID before starting the FAFSA.
- Everyone contributing information on the FAFSA will be required to give consent to transfer their tax information from the IRS, even non-filers.
- There will be a process for undocumented parents to create a FSA ID. Details should be coming this Fall.
- More students are expected to be eligible for Pell Grants under the new Student Aid Index (SAI) as compared with the old EFC.
