Principal's Message

Dear Larsen Families,

As we begin the month of December, I want to extend my warmest holiday wishes to each Roadrunner family who makes up our community. I also want to thank you for entrusting your children into our care every day. We are grateful for the support you provide our staff and students during distance learning- together we are better and our students reap the benefits.

I am very grateful that Larsen School has outstanding teachers and support staff that enjoy teaching our children and that are constantly looking for ways to improve our programs. My favorite part of the day is to visit virtual classrooms and see our kiddos focused and hard at work with smiles on their faces. It is clear that our students are being taught a great deal, and that they enjoy live synchronous time with their teacher and classmates. Larsen teachers, students and families make it a true community at heart, and everyone who makes up this community has come together during this difficult time to guide our students to best of our ability.

Please Report Your Student's Absences

If your child will be absent, please call the school and report the absence to our office staff. Please bring any doctor's notes or necessary documentation to excuse and absence to the school office or email it to Ximena Lopez (xlopez@hueneme.org).
