This week we are giving a round of applause to our Literacy Support Teachers, Mrs. O'Shea and Mrs. Crawford! These two really go above and beyond for our students. They both pull small groups of students to work on any and every literacy skill (Reading, writing, letter recognition, etc.) and are constantly thinking of new and engaging ways to make learning fun! Both Mrs. O'Shea and Mrs. Crawford often also co-teach in any classroom. Mrs. O'Shea also pulls 1st grade students one on one for Reading Recovery. To say these two are busy is an understatement! But you will never see either of them without a smile on their face. Their love for their students and work is evident by their upbeat lessons and just overall positive attitudes! Both Mrs. O'Shea and Mrs. Crawford are always quick to add a group into their free time, just to ensure all students' needs are being met. Not only are they constantly going above and beyond for our students, but they are also continuously supporting our teachers. They can be found in and out of classrooms answering questions, explaining strategies, and just simply helping any teacher that may need it. Kolmar is a such a fun, positive place and we definitely have these two to thank for a lot of that! Thanks for everything you do, Literacy Support Teachers!
