Testing tips:

Get enough sleep.

Eat a healthy breakfast. Our cafeteria is open daily from 7:15 to 7:40.

Be on time. Testing starts promptly at 8:00 AM.

Take your time. This test is not timed.

Review your work before your submit.

My role as the EL counselor is to support multilingual students in language acquisition, academics, and their ability to cope and adapt to a new culture and environment. We will address these areas using various services and interventions such as one-on-ones with students/parents, small group activities to enhance student language acquisition, enrichment activities/clubs that are inclusive to all cultures, and providing parents with information on EL Pathway, support services at the site, and district EL master plan through ELAC meetings.

• I graduated From CSULB with a M.S. in School Counseling.
• I have worked in education for over 10 years. I worked for ABCUSD as a Paraeducator, a College and Career Specialist, and now, as a School Counselor.
• I am a product of ABCUSD. I attended Furgeson ES, Fedde MS, and Artesia HS.
• I was also a Coordinator at a local Teen Center, where I had the opportunity to create and offer recreational and educational programs.
