A Message From Your Principal
Greetings, Eames Way Families!
There's no shortage of smiles at EWS this week! In addition to continuing our studies, students have been practicing their smiles for next week's Picture Day (NEXT TUESDAY!) and, as you will see below, EWS students are expert smilers.
If you're in the Eames Way neighborhood the morning of Friday, October 27th, EWS Families are welcome to join me for coffee or tea in our beautiful gazebo! (Fingers crossed that the weather cooperates!) If the weather is not favorable, we do have a rain date of Monday, October 30th.
Students are also very excited about the EWS PTO's upcoming "Trunk or Treat" on Sunday, October 29th and have very kindly helped me and Mrs. Milch troubleshoot how we can decorate our vehicles for the event. Kindergarten in particular had some unique ideas that all of us at EWS appreciate:
1) "Potato Car"
2) "Spider Car with Bats and Candy"
3) "Scary Hamster Car (also with bats and spiders)"
4) "Cupcake Car"
5) "Just COVER your car in CANDY, MS. BISHOP!"
The list of ideas continues to grow and our children continue to inspire us with their creativity. If we have any indoor recesses next week, perhaps we can work on building some prototypes!
Be sure to check out our list of other upcoming events and have a fantastic weekend!
With Best Wishes,
Ms. Bishop, Principal

This will be an in-person, Bring-Your-Own Laptop*, interactive event. This event is sponsored by the Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC). All of our events are open to everyone and this presentation in particular will prove helpful to all parents and caregivers throughout the district. We hope you can make it.
