Here is your opportunity to learn about the curriculum that will be taught to your child for the 2023-2024 school year. Below is the schedule for the night.

August 24, 2023 - SGE 1st - 5th Grade Curriculum Night @ 6:30 – 8:00 PM

There will be three sessions during the night to allow those parents with multiple children in the school to visit their child’s classroom. Please note that 3rd grade will do one presentation in the computer lab from 6:30 – 6:50 PM. The classroom teachers will be providing the same information at each session. The night is intended for the parents to learn more about the curriculum being taught.

Session 1 – 6:30 – 6:50 PM (3rd Grade Parents Meet in Computer Lab)

Session 2 – 7:00 – 7:20 PM

Session 3 – 7:30 – 7:50 PM

Greetings from the D2 Beginner Band!

My name is Mr. Andrew Pryor, and I’m the beginning band director at Richmond Grade School and Spring Grove Elementary. Now that your student is in 5th grade, they have an opportunity to be a member of the beginner band!

Band at District 2 is a fun, positive activity that takes place during the school day, there is NO after school commitments, minus the Winter and Spring Concerts that are in conjunction with the 5th grade music concerts.

I am meeting with all 5th graders twice in the next few days to pass out information sheets, but I will attach them to this email as well.

While band is an optional activity, we are very proud that we routinely have an 85% participation rate for band at D2 and hope your student will join us for the 2023-2024 school year! If you have ANY questions, please feel free to email me ANYTIME at apryor@nsd2.com

* Early Childhood (ECE) parents will receive a separate letter regarding pick-up and drop-off procedures before their first day of school.
