Help Needed for the Fun Fair
What kinds of donations are still needed?
Baked goods (cakes pies, cookies, energy bars, panna cotta, maki sushi, inari sushi, fried rice, fried noodles, etc.,) potted plants, crafts (sewn items, pottery, costume jewelry, etc.,)
You are welcome to drop of your donated items to the cafeteria on Friday, 9/16 starting at 6:30 a.m. If it is perishable food items, you are welcome to drop it off at 1:30 p.m.

White Elephant Donations
Grade 2 will have a White Elephant sale at the Fun Fair. We are asking for donations of gently used books or stuffed animals. Please drop it off outside any of the grade 2 classrooms (B6, B7, B9 or B10) by Thursday 9/15/22.

Resource Classes in Full Effect at Waikiki School!
Additionally, we welcome back Ms. Leslie Fleming and Ms. Rosie Connelly as our two fabulous Art instructors. Also returning back is Kumu Hilina Miller, our awesome Hawaiiana teacher and Ms. Erin Young as our energetic Zumba teacher. Returning to our resource rotation is Library with Mrs. Fran Higashi. Mahalo to Mrs. Higashi, Mari Higashi and to all of our volunteers who were able to get our library up and running after a two year hiatus!
New to our resource team is Ms. Boo Lai, who will be spearheading our outstanding Sustainability program with Mr. Scott Kitamori, our Garden Food Farm Manager. Also new to our resource team is Ms. Emiko George who will be nurturing a love of music with our children.
We're all extremely excited that we can offer a wide variety of offerings as we look to create that balance or "Harmony of Heart and Mind."
