Principal's Message
I’m Mrs. Katie Cazalet and am honored to serve as Principal of Dunlap High School. I am entering my twentieth year in education, and have been in Dunlap for the past 14. During my time at Dunlap High School, I have been a teacher, coach, and spent five years as the Athletic Director and am entering my third year as Principal. I feel very fortunate to be involved in the Dunlap community and to work with the teachers and staff at DHS. They truly are the best!
I reside in the Dunlap district with my husband, Brett and our children Vincent and Brynn, who attend Hickory Grove Elementary.
I am looking forward to another great year at DHS! Roll Eags!

Mr. Kennedy Bio
Hello, I'm Tim Kennedy, the new assistant principal at Dunlap High School. With 28 years of experience in education, I've had the pleasure of teaching special education across all levels and leading computer and technology courses. My journey has also taken me through various administrative roles, including principal, technology director, and special education administrator.
Beyond the classroom and office, you'll find me embracing the great outdoors—camping, fishing, and biking are my favorite pastimes. I enjoy time spent with my large family in Peoria and am excited to bring my passion for education and community to Dunlap High School.

Mrs. Vaughn Bio and Duties
I have worked for the Dunlap district for 5.5 years and am mom to two Dunlap graduates. I am Southern by birth and a Mechanical Engineer by trade. Following 8 years in the engineering field in South Carolina, I became a stay-at-home mom with my children in 2003 and was blessed to continue in that role for the next 15 years. During that time, my husband was transferred to Peoria, IL with CAT, and we relocated to the Dunlap district. In 2019, I chose to return to work as Secretary at Dunlap Middle School so that I could stay on the same schedule as my children. I loved working with the DMS staff, students, and families for 3 years and now have the opportunity to serve as the Principal's Secretary at DHS this school year. I am looking forward to another great year at DHS!!
