We Are With the Banned

Literacy Events

Banned Books Week will be coming upon us at the end of the month. Play along and pay attention for upcoming raffles and incentives! Click on the Banned Book Banner for some great ideas.

Please remind students that entries for the Young Pegasus Poetry Competition is opening for submissions this Saturday.

The Fiction Contest for the 7th Annual San Antonio Book Festival will be accepting entries soon. Consider having your students submitting something that they have already written and just needs to be fine tuned.

For those of you who submitted your required "Technology Survey", check to see if you won below and pick up your Target gift card!

Register to Vote!

If you are new to the area, moved recently, not sure if you are registered, or never registered before, come visit the library!

I was recently deputized and can register you to vote. I also have mail-in ballots for those who live outside Bexar County.

Register by October 8th to be eligible for the November mid-term elections.

Library Usage and Statistics

Digital Citizenship - Due by October 31

Digital Citizenship should be underway with completion by the end of October. Please ensure that you are conducting these lessons and that we encourage campuses to have teachers also support in this effort. The lessons for students can be found on this link.
