PRINCIPAL'S NOTE
Happy Ground Hog Day! Given the temperature recently, we won't need a groundhog to let us know that winter will be in full force for a while! That being said, we do try and go outside every day, even if it's only for a few minutes. On days when we are not able to go outside, Ms. McCauley offers an indoor walking activity so students can work out some energy.
READ-A-THON has started! Hopefully, you've had a chance to collect pledges, but if you have not it's not too late to still gather sponsors. If you need an additional sheet, you can email Mrs. Doran, at tdoran@rsu1.org. Take a photo of your student reading at home, email it to Mrs. Doran, and we will put it on our facebook page and website. Thank you for supporting our fundraiser and helping your students to LOG THOSE MINUTES! We're looking forward to an exciting reading-filled month.
GREAT START DROP-OFF REMINDER
When dropping students off to attend Great Start activities, including Mad Science, please follow the same "car-line" procedure that is used during the typical school day. Because Great Start takes place during staff professional development time, students will need to walk into the building on their own. Once in the building, Mrs. Doran will direct your student to his/her activity.
