Happy December!

The PTO Board is so very thankful for all of our wonderful Spartan families! You have made such a positive impact on our school this fall!

Thanks to your generosity at the Book Fair, PTO had a profit of $1500 and the school has over $700 to spend in extra Scholastic Dollars!

PTO was able to provide lunch and flowers to our veterans during the wonderful Veterans’ Day Celebration!

Your trail mix donations were a HUGE hit for our teachers in November!

Concessions got off to a great start and we’re excited to continue offering fun treats for both Girls Basketball and Boys Wrestling! All profits from Concessions go right back to the school to support things like student activities and athletic programs.

The 8th Grade Poinsettia Fundraiser was a great success with over $5,300 in sales! Look for emails about individual student profits in the next few weeks. We are excited to announce that there will be another fundraiser at the end of January!

We are grateful for our large community of students, teachers, staff, and families. Have a peaceful holiday season and we look forward to finishing up 2022 strong and seeing you in the new year!

We sure loved spoiling our awesome Schmucker staff in November with a trail mix bar! We heard from teachers that it was a wonderful treat and how much it brightened their day. Thank you to all the wonderful parents who contributed to this effort! We couldn't have done it without your time and energy.

We had another great SMS Spirit Wear Sale! Delivery is expected to arrive around December 14-20. The orders will be distributed during lunch periods. As always, we appreciate your support!

PTO Dues: This year we are asking for $15 per Schmucker Family to be a part of PTO and help to fund these activities. The MORE dues and donations we receive, then the LESS fundraising we will have to do this year.

Please use one of the two options to pay your PTO Dues:

1) You may pay electronically by clicking the link below, which will direct you to our electronic PTO dues site. This is very convenient and can be done so very quickly and easily.

2) Send a check to the school with your student. Please make checks payable to “Schmucker PTO.”

We’ve been so incredibly thankful for the outpouring of generosity and contributions from our SMS community. We ask for your continued support as we move forward to make this an amazing school year for all of our Schmucker Spartans.

Create an account for yourself & associate it with Schmucker Middle School, then start uploading any receipts with qualifying purchases! Schmucker will be automatically credited with those points!

You can also look for Schmucker Middle School in Amazon Smile. With all of our online holiday shopping, it's an effective way to easily give back to our SMS PTO.

The Parent Teacher Organization at Schmucker Middle School plays a vital role in supplementing the educational experiences of our children. The funds raised by our PTO allow our students to have opportunities not funded by the school budget.
