E.O. Green parents and guardians,

Here are some reminders for this coming week:

-Teacher and classified appreciation week are May 17 through May 21. We will be celebrating our outstanding educators and classified staff. GREEN is fortunate to have a group of stellar teachers and dedicated classified staff. Let's teach our students to show appreciation for all of the GREEN Staff that works consistently to provide every day the very best to their students.

-Picture Make-ups are scheduled for May 11 and May 12, 2021. Your students are invited to stop by the cafeteria during nutrition time. Please follow the nonuniform expectations.

-Please remember that the Hueneme School District has partnered with the VCPH to bring a COVID-19 Mobile Vaccination Clinic to our community. The mobile clinic will be set up on our campus, E.O. Green JHS, this Friday, May 14.

8th-grade parents; we will be hosting the 8th-grade promotion celebration on June 17. Last week, your student took home the promoting sign to display at your home. Continue encouraging your students to do their best and complete all class assignments, projects and exams. It is essential to earn passing grade marks and have good behavior.

Finally, CONGRATULATIONS TO Mariely Ayleen Ramos that won the art contest for our upcoming VCOE Equity Conference 2021. We appreciate Ms. Briggs and Mr. Ramos for supporting the student to accomplish it.

Future Trio Students,

Are you interested in joining TRIO? TRIO is a program offered at EO Green to help support students through their education. Students will receive important information about high school and college with consistent guidance over the years. If you are interested in TRIO, please fill out the form as soon as possible. Students already enrolled in TRIO don't need to fill out an application.
