BACCALAUREATE

WHEN: Sunday, May 21, 2023

TIME: Begins at 6pm; doors open at 5pm. Seating is first come, first serve.

WHERE: EHS Wildcat Arena

COST: Free to the public

WHO: All are invited to attend.

WHAT TO BRING: Clear bag policy will be followed. No balloons, air horns, or noise-making devices are allowed. No large banners or signs that could obstruct the view of other guests are allowed. All guests will enter via metal detectors.

GRADUATION

WHEN: Monday, May 22, 2023

TIME: Begins at 8pm; both sides will open at 7pm. Seating is first come, first serve.

WHERE: Memorial Stadium

COST: Free to the public

WHO: All are invited to attend. No limit on how many people each senior can bring.

LIVE STREAM: Like the last few years, ESD will live stream graduation on our youtube channel. Follow our website and social media channels for updates and a link to the live stream on the day of graduation.

WHAT TO BRING: Clear bag policy will be followed. No balloons, air horns, or noise-making devices are allowed. No large banners or signs that could obstruct the view of other guests are allowed. All guests will enter via metal detectors.

INCLEMENT WEATHER: In the event of inclement weather, graduation will be held at the El Dorado Municipal Auditorium. Each senior will receive tickets Monday morning at graduation practice. Tickets are ONLY to be used if graduation is moved indoors due to weather. Due to the fire code, only those with tickets will be allowed in. Again, this is only in the event graduation is moved due to inclement weather. Any updates will be posted to the ESD website and social media pages. An alert will be sent out to ESD guardians if there are any changes.

DIPLOMAS: Many do not realize that the seniors do not actually get their diplomas the night of graduation. They pick them up at the high school a week or so later when they pick up their Promise letter and final transcript.

SENIOR PICK-UP DAYS:

• June 5th 9am-11am

Seniors with the last name A-F will need to report to the main office to see Mrs. Carden and Mrs. Thompson to pick up diplomas, Promise letter, and to order transcripts at $2 per transcript.

• June 6th 9am-11am

Seniors with the last name G-K will need to report to the main office to see Mrs. Carden and Mrs. Thompson to pick up diplomas, Promise letter, and to order transcripts at $2 per transcript.

• June 7th 9am-11am

Seniors with the last name L-R will need to report to the main office to see Mrs. Carden and Mrs. Thompson to pick up diplomas, Promise letter, and to order transcripts at $2 per transcript.

• June 8th 9am-11am

Seniors with the last name S-Z will need to report to the main office to see Mrs. Carden and Mrs. Thompson to pick up diplomas, Promise letter, and to order transcripts at $2 per transcript.

From the EHS Student Handbook (pg. 14). -

All students who meet the following criteria shall be exempt from their second semester exam.

- No more than five (5) absences -- these include excused and unexcused (school trips do not count towards absences)

- Grade A or B for the 3rd and 4th nine weeks

- Principal's approval

Any student interested in being an Athletic Training Student next year needs to attend the ATS Interest Meeting on Wednesday, May 24 @ 1:45 in the Training Room. You MUST be enrolled in the sports medicine curriculum for the 23-24 school year to attend this meeting.

Current Juniors, Your Senior First day shirts are on sale. Check your email for information on them. Orders and payments are due by May 26 by 3:30. You may pay by cash app or cash to Mrs McClellan room 1415.

Current Sophomores, check your email to order Junior first day shirts for next year! Orders due by May 22 - Money due to Miss Gorden in room 2626 by May 26.
