Mill Valley Weekly
November 4th, 2021
Hello Mill Valley Families,
The beautiful fall colors can be seen all around us. Cooler temperatures are on the way, therefore, please be sure that your children are prepared for outdoor activates. Snow will be falling before we know it. Students will need both boots and snow pants in order to play in the snow.
Enjoy your extra hour this weekend (daylight savings).
Sincerely,
Robin Schrot, Principal

Destination Imagination 2021-2022 Season
We are so excited to kick off a new season of Destination Imagination in the Muskego Norway School District!
Destination Imagination is a creative problem solving competition. It promotes creative thinking in students from 1st grade through college. It offers students a unique opportunity to participate in challenging and motivating activities from drama, writing, building, and creating. Students learn to work with others as a team developing self-confidence by creating solutions, evaluating ideas and making final decisions. If you believe this after school activity is for your child, there are a number of ways to learn more about DI. Please access the links below to learn more about DI. Check it out!
Sign up by November 9th.
If you have any questions, please contact Mill Valley’s DI coordinators Julie Hetzel or Rachelle Enk.

Coin Drive/Penny War November 8th - 12th
The Coin Drive/Penny War works like this:
Each grade level will have their own bucket. All pennies collected in a grade level bucket will be added to that grade's total on a daily basis. However, any other coins or cash put in a bucket will be deducted from that grade's total on a daily basis.
So...
- put pennies in your grade level bucket
- put other coins or cash in another grade level bucket.
Students will be allowed to place coins in buckets at the beginning of the school day.
This is a friendly competition between grades. The winning grade level will receive a popcorn party provided by the PTO.
100% of all funds collected will be used to help Mill Valley families in need.
