Windows in the Classroom Seminar and Keynote
Windows in the classroom allows us to explore tools and technologies that energize and engage students. You will learn how to get more out of the software you use every day. And you'll discover how the latest devices and software work together to support 21st century learning.
Jane Nauman of Nauman Ed Consulting will be delivering our seminar. Jane has been an educator for 30 years as a teacher, technology director, consultant, and adjunct professor. She has worked with TEA, TCEA, ISTE, Intel, Region 10, and various school district's. In all of these roles, she was responsible for development and delivery of Professional Development for technology integration. Jane also delivers anti-drug keynotes and presentations to students and parents in her community.
Her achievements include: Who's Who in Business and Education, TCEA Planning Committee, Intel Teach Texas Coordinator, and is an Adjunct Professor for UNT and SMU.
Microsoft in Education - Office 365
Secondary teachers will be provided basic training for Microsoft Office 365 in Education. The subscription based version of the Microsoft Suite will provide access to Microsoft Exchange/Outlook, Lync, SharePoint, and Office Web Apps including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote. LCM recently implemented our own Office 365 site.
