Happy September! Week two was a huge success. Our staff and students are thriving and we couldn't be #stronGer! I hope everyone has a wonderful three day weekend. We look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday, September 6th.

Important Information:

Copies of the "RES TOP 10" should have come home in backpacks this week. Please keep in a safe place for reference! All of our families have been doing a phenomenal job with communication etc. Thank you!!!!
LEGO robotics tryouts for fourth graders will be on Tuesday, September 13th from 2:30 - 4:30pm. Details and application forms will come home on Tuesday, September 6th.
School picture day is Thursday, September 15th!
Friday, September 23rd there is no school for students

September is Attendance Awareness Month. Did you know that absenteeism in the first month of school can predict poor attendance throughout the school year? Half of the students who miss 2-4 days in September go on to miss nearly a month of school, making themselves chronically absent. Please have your students attend school unless they are sick, and if they are absent, communicate this with the front office at roadrunners@glnd.k12.va.us.

Randolph Families,

Our current Fever/COVID Protocol:

If your child develops a fever, we recommend that they be seen by a physician and/or perform a COVID test. All students and staff must be 24 hours fever-free without the use of fever reducing medications before returning to school.
If your child tests positive for COVID, they will need to isolate for 5 days from either the onset of symptoms or the positive test (whichever came first). We then recommend that they wear a well fitting mask for an additional 5 days. We are no longer requiring quarantines for those exposed.
