SHES Weekly Update

Last week was incredible! It felt like everyone was refreshed, recharged, and ready to tackle anything. It's always a treat to go around to all the classrooms and see the incredible teaching and learning. I hope that you get a chance to volunteer in your child's classroom to experience the remarkable environment the teachers and students have created. We have many upcoming events planned; please see all the flyers and information below.

Thank you all so much for grabbing almost all our ornaments! Thank you for coming together as a campus and helping out our families in need. If you would still like to help out our families, there is a Christmas Tree outside of the front office. Come grab an ornament from the tree, purchase the gift indicated on the ornament specifically chosen based on need and drop it off to the front office with the ornament that was picked up and unwrapped by December 15.

We are so sorry. Production experienced a little hiccup and our SHES Winter Apparel sales will be available from 12/6 - 12/17. Please look for flyers in your child's backpack.

Attention parents! Please make sure to communicate with the front office regarding any changes in personal information, contact numbers and/or addresses. It is important that the office has all of the most current information in case of emergency. COVID testing will be held at Shadow Hills Elementary School once a week on Wednesday's in the bus parking loop from 7:30 am - 12:30 pm. Testing is open to staff, students, and the community. Please pre-register at https://www.covxlabs.com/prereg-form.

We are excited to invite parents to our next Lunch on the Lawn. Please join your students on Friday, December 10th if you would like to have lunch with them. Please see the flyer for specific lunch times. We look forward to seeing families in the quad enjoying time together!

We are excited to announce that the Jolly Boutique will be available again this year! The jolly gift boutique will give students the opportunity to do holiday shopping on their own! Gifts range from $0.50 through $25 and the gifts are chosen to provide a selection of over 120 different items for parents, relatives and friends. A gift list planner and envelope will go home with your child by 12/3 please return to your students teacher by 12/10. If you would like to sponsor a child or send donation please indicate that on the form sent home. The Jolly Boutique will be open from Monday, 12/13, through Friday, 12/17. Students will go through with their teachers and will be assisted by PTA volunteers.

JMMS will be starting a PTA and is actively looking for members. Please see the flyer.
