EHHS To Host FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Night
EHHS will be hosting a Family FAFSA Night February 8 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Families will be able to learn more about the changes to the 2024-2025 FAFSA, create their FSA IDs, and complete the form. A financial aid representative from Albertus Magnus will provide a brief presentation and be available to answer questions. A raffle prize and light refreshments will also be available. Students applying to 4-year Connecticut Colleges may have Financial Aid deadlines as early as February 15!

National Honor Society Still Collecting Items For Animal Shelter
The National Honor Society continues to collect essentials for the East Haven animal shelter. Please consider donating cat/dog food, treats, toys, blankets/towels. Collection boxes are in the main office and first floor East wing.
National Honor Society will meet on Thursday, Feb 8th after school in room E118.
News From The Culinary Department
The second semester brings new workers to the Hive Cafe. Coming out of hibernation, Culinary 2 students transformed a block of Ramen noodle into their own signature dish. The Hive Capstone class sharpened their customer service skills and will put them to use on our winter opening of the Cafe on Tuesday. Busy week for Culinary 1 and Production bake shop preparing Super Bowl Wings and Stuffed Breads. We will add a 5+ and 6th day to the week by running the concession stand and food trailer as EHHS hosts the SEC wrestling championships Feb 9 and 10th.
Academic Success Coach - Course on PowerSchool
Attention Parents/Guardians:
If your child has received the course entitled "Academic Success Coach" added to their schedule in Powerschool, they have been identified as a student who should be engaging in rigorous coursework at EHHS. These students may have the potential to take courses at EHHS that offer Dual Enrollment with local colleges. More information will follow about this program and enrollment in these courses.

Deadline Has Passed To Make Semester II Schedule Changes
The deadline to submit schedule changes for 2nd semester has passed. Because we have already completed almost two whole 4-day rotations of classes, any schedule changes requested at this time will not be honored. We hope everyone is enjoying and working hard in their new classes!
