The Whirlwind Weekly

This Whirlwind Weekly will be the last newsletter for this semester. The next edition of the Whirlwind weekly will be sent out on Monday, January 2, 2023. Please remember that semester tests will begin on Thursday of this week and continue through next Monday. The last day of the Fall Semester 2022 will be Tuesday, December 20, 2022. This is the make-up day for semester tests. Please reference the semester test schedule posted below for specific test days.

Students will not be able to take their semester tests early for any reason. Semesters tests are required for ALL students during the Fall semester. If students are not present for their semester tests, they will have to take their tests when they come back for the Spring semester. Students will not be able to check out of school until their testing session is finished.

The RJHS Library is selling Christmas Candy Cane Grams! $1.00 for a note with a candy cane of your choice! These will be delivered during advisory on December 14th!

The NJHS will be collecting new, unopened toys for the students of Crawford Elementary School. For every gift that a person brings, that person will get their name entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $25.00 gift card to Wal-Mart. All toys must be appropriate for ages 6yr-10yr. Toys can be brought to Mrs. Hubbard's classroom. Donations will be accepted until Wednesday, December 14th, 2022. All ages are welcome! RSD Reads is the Literacy Program for the Secondary Libraries of RSD.

Congratulations to the 82 students who made the All Region Bands today. All the students have been working since September in preparation for this event. We are very PROUD of all them!!

Saturday, RJHS Cheer ended their competition season with another Grand Champion!

Stats this season:

4x Grand Champions (Highest score of all the Jr. High teams no matter division.)

3x Best Fight Song Choreography

4x Best Crowd Leading Choreography

5x Best Band Chant Choreography
