Notes from Mr. Moore

Hi All,

1.Remember that the Winter Concert is coming up (involving both Mixed Choir and concert Choir) on Wednesday December 20th at 7PM. Call time for students is 6PM in Mr. Moore's room.

2. The annual benefit concert is coming up in Friday, December 22 at 7:15 PM. Tickets are $10. They may be purchased from choir students (in which case a percentage may be applied to their next trip) or at the door.

3. Congratulations to the Mixed Choir and Show Choir for receiving all Superiors at the Fall Frederick County Adjudication.

Please continue to support your children in the choir program, they are too stressed and need your support.

December 19 is a great day to stop at Chipotle and have some dinner. If you show this flyer and mention THSPAB at between the hours of 5:00-9:00pm, then we receive a portion of the proceeds. You got to eat, right?

Winter concert

December 20, 7:00pm at THS, you will hear the beautiful sounds of the Mixed Choir and Show Choir ensembles when they perform their winter concert. The THS band will be performing as well! You will also be treated to the pieces the choirs performed at the Fall Adjudication on December 1, where the combined ensemble earned straight 1's!! Way to go!!

Please remember to drop off goodies for concessions by this Monday, December 18.

TTSC Benefit Concert

What everyone has been waiting for! Right before you retreat home for winter break, come to THS for the annual TTSC benefit concert. Friday, December 22, at 7:15pm. You can purchase tickets or get a sponsor form from your favorite show choir member. You can email the form back to thspab.org@gmail.com. I know the alumnae don't want to miss this one! Please have all ticket money in to Mr. Moore by Monday, December 18.

We had a great time caroling in downtown Frederick!!

Congratulations!!

Job well done to all the students who earned a spot in the FCPS All-County Chorus. Mark your calendar now for Saturday, January 27, 2018, 7:00pm, for the All-County Concert at Thomas Johnson High School.

Extra congratulations to Amy and Blair who earned one of the coveted spots in the Maryland All-State Treble Choir and Mixed Choir, respectively. They will perform for the MMEA Convention at Morgan State University on Sunday, March 11, 2018.
