On Tuesday, November 29, 2022, the team played in a Triangular meet at home.
First, the team played Athens High School (Athens). Tyler answered eight toss-ups correctly. Orie answered two. As a team, we scored 10 points per bonus. We won 200-60. The Varsity team is now 3-6. Overall, the combined team is 5-12.
Second, the team played Auburn High School (Auburn). Tyler answered five toss-ups correctly. Orie and Ethan both answered one. As a team, we scored 12.86 points per bonus. We won 190-180. The Varsity team is now 4-6. Overall, the combined team is 6-12.

Attention all high school students!! Want to request a schedule change for 2nd semester? If so, all requests are due at NOON on Wednesday, December 21st. Need a schedule change request form….they are outside Student Services on the bookcase. Got questions? Email Mrs. Euler

The HS will dismiss for semester exams on Tuesday and Wednesday at 2:20. We have done this every year since we moved off of the block. On Tuesday, students that ride the bus go to the Dome and are supervised by a staff member until the buses arrive at 3:10.

NHS Member Lily Pidcock spoke to two NBHS Student Athlete NHS Members. See below to find out what it takes to keep it all together!

Chapter 9 of the NBHS Student Handbook outlines the requirements for Student Incentives regarding how to earn Semester Exam Coupons: Prestigious Pretzel and Student Achievement on the SAT/PSAT. We have added an incentive for students in grades 9-11 that take the MAP assessment this winter! The information is outlined in the NBHS Daily Agenda that is shared with students each day in Advisory - the slide below explains the criteria.

Students that did not meet the grade level benchmark on the Fall MAP for Math and/or Reading have the opportunity to take the IXL Diagnostic Assessment to identify skills that need to be strengthened in an effort to support academic achievement. If students meet the Math and Reading benchmarks on the Winter MAP Assessment, they will receive a semester exam coupon! Details regarding what your child needs to do for IXL are explained below.
