We are excited to meet our new staff and students! First day of school is August 16th - 8:10-1:05. We would like to welcome Ms. Cruz-Ramirez to our TK/K SDC team, Ms. Meyers to the fifth grade team, Mr. Hargraves to the fourth grade team, and Ms. Thomspon as our TSA.

Breakfast 7:45 - 8:05 and Lunch are Free to ALL students! Please do not drop your child off before 7:45 as there is NO supervision until 7:45.

Arrival:

All students arriving for breakfast - Please enter through the front doors between 7:45-8:00

At 8:00 gates will be open to welcome students onto campus. The front gate to the right of the front doors (TK/Kinder students should enter here), the Meekland gate (3-5th graders should enter here), and the Paseo Loop gate will all be opened and staffed to welcome students beginning at 8:00. At 8:10 all gates will be closed and students will need to enter through the front door to recieve a pass - students arriving after 8:10 are considered tardy.

Dismissal:

All TK and Kinder students are dismissed by their teachers in their designated pick up location.

All 1st, 2nd, and Ms. Furman's 3rd Graders will be dismissed at the Paseo Grande Loop - there is a car line and a pedestrian line. Students will remain in line with their teachers and are called to the gate to be released to their pick up person. If you are picking up in the car line, please remain in your car and pull forward as the line moves.

3rd (except Ms. Furman's class) - 5th Graders will be dismissed in the front of the school. Teachers will walk their classes out and remain with students until pick up is complete.

Back to School Night for 1st - 5th Grades:

This is an adult only event. You will go directly to your students classroom.

September 6th from 6:00-7:00:

6:00 - 6:30 Session 1

6:30-6:35 passing period

6:35 - 7:00 Session 2

We offer two sessions to allow for families with multiple students to be able to visit both classrooms.

Counseling Center

Welcome back! I hope you and your family have had an amazing summer! I am happy to return as your school counselor! As we look forward to the new year, we will focus on social and emotional support for all students. The counseling center also offers a wellness center that provides therapeutic calming stations for students that need a small break from class. In addition I will visit classes speaking on topics pertaining to social and emotional issues. Please feel free to contact me. I am here for you and the students!

The first weeks of school

Hello all returning cougars and new cougars!

The first few weeks of PE, class will be about learning the rules and expectations of the school year as well as going over important reminders of what we should expect/ wear in during PE days. On PE days please have students bring "closed toe" shoes (meaning student's toes should be fully covered; so no crocks, sandals, or flip flops), and students should also where clothes that may get a little dirty.

I look forward to working with this community this year and please feel free to reach with any questions.
