Green JHS Weekly Bulletin for June 8th

A Message from the Principal

Hello E.O.Green Families, it is hard to believe school ends in two weeks.

All students need to return school property and pick up report cards (follow the schedule below). Eighth graders will also receive their promotion certificate and tassel on June 15. On this day, we will be celebrating our 8th-graders with music in the quad, balloons, promoting signs, and more. Picture-perfect areas will be available with a 2020 Congratulations sign and more; bring a camera or your phone to take pictures of your student.

The virtual promotion is on June 18 at 9:00.

Hola familias de EO Green, es difícil creer que la escuela terminara en dos semanas.

Todos los estudiantes deben devolver la propiedad de la escuela y recoger las boletas de calificaciones (siga el horario que esta abajo). Los alumnos del octavo grado también recibirán su certificado de promoción y borla el 15 de junio. Este mismo día, celebraremos a nuestros alumnos de octavo grado con música en el patio, globos, carteles promocionales y más. Areas perfectas para tomar fotos de su alumno estaran disponibles con un cartel de Felicitaciones 2020 globos y mucho mas; Trae tu propia cámara o telefono para tomar fotos.

REPORT CARD PICK UP AND PROPERTY RETURN SCHEDULE

The schedule is one day for each grade level and pick up/return times are organized by alphabetical order. Please remember to wear your mask on campus and practice physical distancing.

PE Locker Room Items Will Be Available for Pick Up During Report Card Pick Up

7/8 Grade students will also pick up all PE items from the locker rooms during report card pick up. Due to Covid-19 and safety reasons, all items must be picked up to allow custodians to deep clean and sanitize lockers and the locker room before the 20-21 school year.

***ANY ITEMS LEFT WILL NOT BE SAVED OVER THE SUMMER.***

Get Help Buying Food While Schools Are Closed

Hello HESD Families,

This is an important message from Hueneme Elementary School District. You might be eligible to get $365 per child to help feed your family, in addition to any grab-n-go meals you may be getting. Because schools are closed due to COVID-19, families who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals can get extra food benefits to help feed their children. These food benefits are called Pandemic EBT or P-EBT.

Families will get up to $365 per eligible child on a P-EBT card. You can use your P-EBT card like a debit card to buy food and groceries for your children.
