News and Notes
Buffalos,
Last week we had our first concert of the year and we finished our first semester. I was incredibly proud of all of our 5th and 6th grade performers and a huge thanks to all families as we had over 90% of students at the concert. This last week Mrs. Hurla kicked off bus tickets and we had our first drawing on Friday. Students were excited to be recognized and celebrated for their great choices on the bus. A few additional reminders:
- School Transportation Day- This coming Wednesday is national School Transportation Day and we will celebrate our bus drivers. Our drivers work long hours and they play an important role for our students.
- Site Council- Buffalo families are invited to apply to be part of our Site Council. Site Council meetings provide parents with more information regarding school policies and happenings, and it also allows for dialogue regarding things happening at Berryton and Shawnee Heights collectively. If interested check out the link below.
- Upcoming Parent Teacher Conferences- Sign up below to reserve a Parent Teacher conference time. Conferences will be offered via Zoom or in person again this year.
It's Great to Be a Buffalo,
