Sunday Send Off

School pictures are this Thursday, September 29, 2022. This is a half day so ALL pictures will be done in the morning. All students will get their pictures taken for ID's and school records. Lakeshore will be sending home package information after the pictures are taken.

Our Tahquamenon Area Schools’ app keeps getting better and better! Parents/guardians who have already created a Rooms account can now access new app features like chat and class streams via web and in the app. If you have not yet registered, the email contains a personalized link that is associated with your student. Coming this January, Mr. Brian Sikkenga will be taking on the role of 7-12 principal. Mrs. Neeb will be staying on the K-12 Special Education Superivor and Mrs. Price will be staying on as Superintendent/Transportation Superivor. Mrs. Neeb and Mrs. Price will work with Mr. Sikkenga in making the transition as seamless as possible. There will be a meet and greet evening planned for later January beginning February. We welcome Mr. Sikkenga back to TAS.

If you need to contact the school to change the dismissal plan for your student, please be sure to make that contact prior to 2:00pm. Any notification later than that makes it difficult to ensure all parties involved receive the message. Safety is our first priority!

Students leaving campus must have a note from a parent to do so, unless for dual enrollment or job training. A pass needs to be issued by Mrs. Canfield in the 7-12 office prior to school starting. This will assist in reducing the distractions in classes during the day. Thank you for your cooperation.
