Facilitators from the Spanish Dual Language Committee presented the Committee's recommendations with details and timelines for the unification of the K-5 Spanish Dual Language at Leal Elementary School for the 2023-2024 school year. During last night's meeting, the Committee presented the Board with three options for moving forward. Following the Board's discussion, the Committee facilitators will return to the Board with additional info and updates in December and request an official vote on the recommendation.

Los facilitadores del Comité de Idioma Dual en Español presentaron las recomendaciones del Comité con detalles y plazos para la unificación del Idioma Dual en Español K-5 en la Escuela Primaria Leal para el año escolar 2023-2024. Durante la reunión de anoche, el Comité presentó a la Junta tres opciones para avanzar. 12.2 Substitute Pay/Insurance/Substitute Teacher Trainers Request - a pay rate increase was approved for day-to-day subs and retired subs, paid insurance for specific subs, and the creation of substitute teacher trainer positions. - Approved
