Vision and Hearing Screening for new students
If your child is new to our district this year, we will need to conduct a hearing and visions exam. Our school will be doing a vision and hearing screening on 9/14/22. This is a requirement set by Illinois guidelines unless proof of recent testing/exams have been done. If you have such proof, please submit this information to our Nurse. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Mrs. Church at kchurch@nsd2.com
Activity bus in now running!
Activity bus is an after school bus that arrives at NMS around 4:15PM. This is a service for our students to help them get home if they stay for afterschool activities. Students will need to sign up for the bus no later than 12PM the day they will need to get on the activity bus.
Please know the activity bus does not run our typical routes and does not stop at our typical bus stops. Students may have to walk a greater distance to get home if they choose to ride the activity bus.
Mobile Dentist
The mobile dentist will be at RGS 11/15. Any family that wish to utilize this service can go online to register at the link below. You MUST register under RGS or your child will not be scheduled or on the list.
Families will need to provide their own transport to RGS and back to their home school.
