Hello Graduates and Families!
In a short while the class of 2024 will pass an important milestone in life: Graduation. It marks the end of high school and the beginning of a bright future. But more importantly, graduation marks an achievement. The Class of 2024 has met the challenges presented to them as freshmen - to learn, grow and make a positive difference at MHS - Congratulations! Parents and guardians, thank you for the support you have given your child and our school throughout the years!

Graduation Advisory Meeting

Mandatory meeting for all Seniors.
Important information will be shared regarding ALL graduation events.
Senior Exit Interviews
Student Services will provide details.
Scholarship Night
6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Students who applied for and were awarded a scholarship will receive an email during the week of May 10th.
- Additional information pertaining to your scholarship will be shared with you by MHS Student Services and the McFarland Education Foundation.
- Please contact Danielle Edgerton at edgertd@mcfsd.org if you have any questions regarding scholarships.
Senior Celebration Day
May 31, 2024
Senior Sunrise
- 5:15 a.m. at the MHS Stadium
- Seniors will gather to watch the sunrise together.
Parking Lot Decorating
- 6:30 - 7:45 a.m.
- Show your creativity by decorating the parking lot! Chalk will be provided.
Senior Breakfast
- Free breakfast will be provided to seniors. Plan to arrive by 7:30 if you would like to eat before the Premiere!
Senior Video Premiere
- 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. in the PAC
- Sign up to participate in the video!
Senior Lunch - NEW EVENT!
- 12:15 p.m. in the cafeteria
- Bring your own lunch or buy school lunch
Senior Parade
- 12:55 - 2:15 p.m.
- You will parade through the halls of MHS, IMMS, WIS, and CEPS and drive past the 4K buildings wearing your caps and gowns. Younger students can cheer for and congratulate you while saying goodbye! This is a favorite event for past students.
- The parade is for students only. Families can look forward to seeing their student in their cap and gown at the graduation ceremony!
- Treats will be provided at MHS post-parade.
Graduation Rehearsal
- All Seniors participating in the ceremony are required to attend. If you need help getting the day off from work, see Mrs. Wink.
- Cum Laude stoles will be presented. NHS cords and other graduation items will be on your chair.
- We will run through the entire order of commencement.
- You can go home when rehearsal is over, so let's stay on task!

MHS A Gym (Start in B Gym)
Graduation Ceremony
June 9, 2024 11:00 am in the A Gym
- Students who achieved Cum Laude status should arrive at 10:00 am for photos.
- All other students should report to the B Gym by 10:30 am.
- Doors will open for guests at 10:00 am. Please enter through the gym doors at the FAR WEST END of the building. There is no limit on the number of guests, but seating is on a first come, first served basis. Keep in mind that we have over 190 graduates and . . .
- The ceremony will be live streamed. Share this link with those who would like to attend virtually. Consider limiting the number of guests attending the ceremony by having extended family and friends watch the livestream.
- Seating for those with disabilities will be available. If you are in need of special seating, please email Kim Wink at winkk@mcfsd.org so we can ensure your needs are met.
There's More . . .
- There is no dress code for the ceremony (besides your cap and gown), however we suggest the following attire: dress shirt, pants, dress, skirt with dress shirt, shoes other than tennis shoes.
- You may decorate your cap, but it must be school appropriate.
