School Hours

Potomack Intermediate School's hours of instruction are 8:25am to 3:25pm. Students must be signed in after 8:40am by a parent or guardian. Please make every effort to have your student to school on time each day as we endeavor to provide the best education to your child as possible.

Drop off and Pick up Procedures

If you are dropping off your student at school tomorrow:

Please pull up all the way to the last sign where Mr. Kelley is standing
Please don't allow your student to get out of the vehicle before 8:25am
Please show patience as the traffic entering and exiting Potomack is always heavy

When picking up students at the end of the day:

Pull around the back of the building up to the library starting at 3:40pm
It's very possible it'll be delayed tomorrow as the buses are loaded
Have your parent pick up tag (if picked up at orientation) hanging from your rear view mirror

Annual Emergency Card Update

If you were unable to attend orientation, please check your student's book bag the first week of school to find their ClassDojo invite. This communication method allows parents to connect with their child's teacher in an easy-to-use manner.
