Khan Academy SAT Practice
WHS students have access to FREE, personalized Official SAT Practice through Khan Academy. This year, KA have launched enhancements such as more practice tests, coaching tools for educators so they can monitor usage and progress, and a tool to help students practice for the essay.
Now is the perfect time to help students get connected to Khan so they can prepare for college admissions testing in the spring and summer. Khan has research that shows students who spent an average of 20 hours with Khan increased their SAT score an average of 115 points.
Here are some resources for students:
- Score resources for educators - Resources to share information with students and families (e.g. PPT, Handouts, Information in Spanish, Videos, etc.)
- Official SAT Practice on Khan Academy for students – Customized practice plan, interactive practice, instant feedback, SAT essay practice, 8 practice tests with essay (scored for free).
- Official SAT Practice on Khan Academy resources for educators – Information for educators, promotional resources, resources to help students link accounts, best practices, etc.

The WHS Theater Off the Square and the Weatherford Shakespeare Festival's production of Macbeth is coming to town. After a rousing success with Taming of the Shrew last year, WSF is back with more vendors and Shakespeare's great tragedy in which our very own Mr. Adam Kullman will be playing the title role. Everyone is invited. This event is free!
Macbeth
by William Shakespeare
*To be produced at the Heritage Park Amphitheater
April 27th-April 28th
What is the story of Macbeth? A brave Scottish general named Macbeth receives a prophecy from a trio of witches that one day he will become King of Scotland. Consumed by ambition and spurred to action by his wife, Macbeth murders King Duncan and takes the Scottish throne for himself. He is then wracked with guilt and paranoia.
