Fundraiser Information
Please be sure to read the IMPORTANT NOTE at the bottom of this section.
How to Participate: Be on the lookout for a fundraiser packet to come home TODAY ~ FRIDAY, AUGUST 25! All orders, and packets, and money are due on Friday, September 8.
Our annual fundraiser kickoff took place this morning in the Intermediate School gymnasium. Students can start selling items immediately by using three different ways to participate.
Funds financially support the school through the purchase of needed items in the school, character t-shirts for all students and staff, teacher appreciation gifts, and offering fun activities and events.
- Sell or purchase items from the brochure or online
- Register at www.ShopFund.com
- Make checks payable to Blair Oaks Elementary Home & School
What do you get:
PRIZES listed on the packet envelope... PLUS:
- Sell 2 items: Attend a glow party
- Sell 4 items: Receive glow party items (bracelets, necklaces, rings, etc)
- Sell 20 items: BIG PRIZE - A trip to STRIKERS!
Help your class: Every teacher that has 50% student participation gets free items for their classroom.
New Option This Year...
If you would like to make a donation directly to the school in lieu of fundraising purchases, you can send in cash or a check directly to the school. The students whose families opt for a direct donation will still be able to receive the noted prizes. In order to attend the glow party, we ask that donations be a minimum of $20. If you have additional questions, please contact the office.
For our families with more than one student…
If an individual student sells 20 items, they get to partake in a special reward trip to Strikers for being a top contributor. This year, if a student has one or more siblings in the elementary and/or intermediate, selling 30 items all together will allow all students within that family to attend the reward trip!
Important Note:
If you sell items from the brochure and turn in a paper copy- please make sure you KEEP THE PINK COPY. The WHITE and YELLOW copies should be returned to SCHOOL with payment.
Please also make sure the CHILD'S NAME, SCHOOL, and TEACHER NAME is filled in completely at the top of the page.
BIS Character / Theme Shirts
The Elementary and Intermediate Home & School purchases character shirts for every intermediate student and staff member to support the Character Education program for the school. This year’s theme was voted on by the staff. Our character theme for 2023-2024 is “Everyday is a New Adventure”.
Please complete this form by Tuesday, August 29th.
*This year we would like to offer our parents the opportunity to order this shirt. The total cost will be $12 per shirt. You will need to fill out the form individually for each student and then for each additional person as well. Payment for any extra shirts (no payment needed for student shirts) will need to be made to the Intermediate Office before shirts will be sent home with your student.
Home & School
All parents (grades K-5) are welcome to join Home & School! This is our version of a PTA and provides an opportunity for parents to become involved with the school by taking leadership in planning yearly teacher appreciation incentives, extra-curricular events, and support for students and teachers. More information will be shared in weekly online newsletters if you’re interested in joining! Meetings are held monthly.
