Social Emotional Learning (SEL) K-5 Conferences
Dear Parents,
Conferences are this Thursday, March 5. I am aware that my schedule fills up quickly with almost 600 students! Please know that I block off time 4:10-5:00 pm & 6:00-6:35 pm for WALK IN visits. This allows you to come in and visit for a quick check in. Also, If you have a conference set up with Señora Loch or Ms. Spector, you'll be able to have a quick visit with me in the Professional Development Room. The three of us set up down there so you can have an opportunity to have a group conference or even just a quick hello. The SEL focus in March for grades Kindergarten through 5th grade has been our Child Lures Protection Unit. You should be receiving explicit information through SEESAW grades K-3 or ClassDojo grades 4 & 5. Please reach out if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Mrs. Kiefer Social Emotional Learning Teacher K-5

Oh, What a Night!
We had a huge turnout for the Grove Gala 2020 last Saturday night and our community definitely knows how to put the FUN in FUNDRAISING! We are still tallying the final results, but early indicators show that this Gala is shaping up to be the best ever & it was thanks to all of you!
We tried a few new things this year and we hope you all agree that it was a big thumbs up! We brought in two additional philanthropic spotlight programs to reach deeper into our community. We brought in Spirits (clearly a crowd pleaser) at our Spirit Toss this year, and even Willy, our LHS Wildcat mascot, showed up to get the spirit out of your paddles at the Live Auction. Thank you for all of you who raised your paddle in the Live Auction and made bids in Silent Auction in the name of literacy!
The Oak Grove School Education Foundation would like to extend our sincere thanks to our teachers, administrators, sponsors, donors, bidders, volunteers, community and of course, our kids, who inspire this entire event! OGSEF thanks you one and all!
